A Acquia DAM Case Study
Gaylord Archival, a Syracuse-based supplier of library, furniture, and archival solutions, faced a content management problem: thousands of product images were stored on a Mac server accessible mainly to designers, making assets hard to find and vulnerable to loss (they once lost images before a catalog due to a server crash). Design Supervisor MaryBeth Florentino also struggled to keep campaign and web imagery consistent across teams and to integrate working InDesign files with shared assets.
They implemented Widen’s Media Collective DAM to centralize assets, add thumbnails, metadata and collections, and grant broader access across departments. Images now update automatically where they’re used online, making assets safer and easier to find, improving brand consistency and marketing efficiency, and speeding reuse of legacy content—while tighter InDesign integration and local-drive duplication remain areas being optimized.
