Entegra, a Sodexo subsidiary and the world’s largest food group purchasing organization with $36 billion in supplier contracts and service to 120,000+ sites, needed to transform its customer experience and position itself as a digital leader in the GPO space. The company’s legacy platform limited data availability, visualizations, and self-serve reporting, fragmented content and tools across multiple systems, and struggled with complex permissioning, large data volumes, and integrations (DAM, analytics, CRM, SSO), creating friction for clients and internal users.
Entegra partnered with Bounteous and validated a tech stack through a POC, choosing Drupal and Acquia with Power BI, Acquia DAM, Acquia Search and Personalization, React components, and an AWS-backed data warehouse. The build delivered an integrated PurchasingIQ platform with embedded Power BI reports, a custom DAM repository inside Drupal, a React-based savings optimizer, Salesforce sync and SSO, and capacity for 500M+ records. With an MVP nearing launch, Entegra expects higher client enrollment, improved retention and satisfaction, stronger digital-market positioning, increased contract utilization and revenue, and better operational efficiency.
