Centennial College in Toronto relied heavily on Widen’s Media Collective to deliver images and video across its site, and needed a way for web designers to quickly find and insert dynamic embed codes from their Umbraco CMS. They required preset sizes for different site areas plus flexible configuration (size, quality, retina, SSL, cropping, padding) and a simple way to embed and update video without driving visitors off-site.

Widen built an Umbraco integration with six preset image sizes plus fully configurable embed codes and a flexible HTML5 video player, letting Centennial pull, update and manage assets centrally in their DAM. The result: a faster, more consistent publishing workflow, automatic content updates across the site, better visitor retention, and scale — Centennial logged over 141 million image embed views in 2015.
