A Acquia DAM Case Study
New Teacher Center, a national nonprofit based in Santa Cruz that supports new and returning teachers, faced inefficient document workflows: people frequently received multiple conflicting versions of the same file, wasted time reconciling documents, and lacked a single source of truth across departments. The organization needed a centralized, easy-to-use repository to store archives, current documents, and templates so teams could confidently find the right files.
Using the Widen Collective DAM with single sign‑on, selective upload permissions, category metadata, and targeted user training, Deb Berard centralized documents, rolled the system out across product, HR, IT, marketing and more, and began using Insights to monitor adoption. The result: faster document retrieval, trusted “one version” files, reduced duplication, growing user adoption across the org, and measurable usage that demonstrates the DAM is becoming the foundation for their broader digital strategy.
