A Acquia DAM Case Study
The American Society for Quality (ASQ) is a global community providing training, certifications, and quality knowledge in more than 130 countries. Despite well-organized marketing assets, their content management system and limited server storage forced teams to archive on CD-ROMs, causing long retrieval times (an estimated 6.26 hours per person per month, or ~7,500 hours/year), slow image request fulfillment, and widespread use of low-quality, off-brand imagery that damaged brand integrity.
ASQ implemented the Widen Collective (Assets, Insights, Portals, Templates), creating branded portals like “ASQ Brand Express,” streamlined metadata built with employee input, and a distributed DAM administration and adoption program. The result: a single source of truth with 20k+ assets, 67k+ downloads and 1.5M+ embed/share views in the last 12 months, faster self-service access, stronger brand consistency, and on-demand customizable templates that boost productivity and quality across the organization.
