The Clean Energy Regulator (CER), an Australian government agency, faced the challenge of scaling its learning and development programs to meet growing public directives and retain staff. With a need to move beyond face-to-face training, CER sought a solution to make its capability frameworks usable and to deliver more accessible and engaging training to its 360 employees.
By implementing the Acorn PLMS through the Learnhub 2 platform, Acorn provided a customized learning solution. This allowed CER to deliver self-directed eLearning tied to role-specific capabilities, enabling employees and managers to identify and address skill gaps. As a result, over 30% of the agency's employees are now on an active development plan, and managers gained valuable insights for workforce planning and more effective training investment.
