Palomar Pomerado Health, the largest U.S. healthcare district serving a broad San Diego–Riverside region, needed a faster, more secure way to communicate audit findings and monitor transactional anomalies. Manual report distribution, cut‑and‑paste documentation and time-consuming data pulls were diverting auditors from investigative work and slowing the department’s continuous monitoring goals.
PPH implemented ACL’s Enterprise Continuous Monitoring powered by Analytics Exchange, with on‑site consulting and packaged analytics to automate tests and exception workflows. The solution enabled real‑time stakeholder communication, a billing‑validation monitor that catches missed charges before discharge, secure user‑specific data access (reducing some tasks from 10 hours to under 1), and improved audit consistency, cost recovery and compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
