Kohler Co., a 145‑year‑old, $6B global manufacturer with roughly 34,000 employees and more than 50 production sites plus retail and hospitality operations, struggled to provide consistent, risk‑focused audit coverage across its many locations. The internal audit team needed a way to pinpoint trouble spots and extend coverage without vastly increasing fieldwork.

Kohler implemented ACL GRC, ACL Analytics Exchange and Direct Link for SAP, building dashboards and automated analytics (about 12 plant analytics and 63 continuous controls checks run monthly) to drive planning and continuous monitoring. The analytics extended risk coverage by ~20% (with a 30% target), uncovered $600K in duplicate payments in a single month, and produced more credible, data‑backed findings that strengthened controls, processes and financial reporting.
