City of College Station, Texas, a fast-growing municipal government with more than 128,000 residents, was managing quarterly performance updates through Excel spreadsheets. The process created version tracking problems, extra back-and-forth between departments, and a full day of work to compile a Word report with graphics for city leadership.
With AchieveIt, the city replaced manual data collection with automated emails to the right people and moved its planning and performance measures into 18 public-facing dashboards. City officials said the system reduced the time needed to manage plans, streamlined reporting for the City Council and City Manager’s office, and was easy to implement and simple to use.
