TIA’s Training and Certification Programs Drive Worldwide Membership Growth

The Tire Industry Association (TIA), a Bowie, Maryland–based global trade association with nearly 7,000 members, faced rapidly growing demand for training and certification but relied on 37 spreadsheets and Peachtree accounting, which hampered reconciliation, reporting, and program scalability. Seeking an association management platform to automate certification and training, TIA selected ACGI Software’s Association Anywhere for its configurable Certification/Training module.

ACGI Software implemented Association Anywhere and integrated it with a third‑party LMS to create TIA’s online university, automating registration, reporting, and credentialing workflows. The solution freed staff from manual processes, enabled on‑demand courses and automated reports, and helped TIA grow training participation roughly tenfold—from about 10,000 to over 100,000 tire professionals by 2014—while increasing membership engagement and revenues.
