Queuing Implementation Continues At MEDDAC

USA MEDDAC at Fort Drum was struggling with crowded check-in areas, inefficient patient throughput, and the resulting risk of HIPAA violations and lost clinical time. ACF Technologies was engaged to address these challenges using its Q-Flow real-time, web-based customer flow and queuing platform to track and route patients across the facility.

ACF Technologies implemented Q-Flow across Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, Patient Service Center, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Chiropractic, Family Medicine and other departments, giving staff at-a-glance patient location and automated routing between clinics. The ACF Technologies deployment reduced or eliminated crowding-related HIPAA risk, sped care delivery for the 10th Mountain Division and Fort Drum patient population, and saved valuable clinical staff time and resources as the system is scaled MEDDAC-wide.
