A ACEware Systems Case Study
Georgia College & State University’s Continuing Education office, led by Assistant Director Stephanie Westmoreland, faced the challenge of scaling noncredit programming and registration in a small college town — expanding from 3–4,000 students in the late 1990s to more than 10,000 today while managing about 700 programs and 12,000 registrations annually (30% online). To handle diverse program types, delivery methods and reporting needs they have relied on ACEware Systems’ Student Manager/ACEweb to support registration, marketing and operational workflows.
ACEware Systems implemented Student Manager and ACEweb features — including customizable reports, waitlist management, mass roster printing, online instructor access and searchable records — that streamline course creation, approvals and marketing decisions. As a result, Georgia College & State University can efficiently manage 700 programs and 12,000 registrations per year, track demographics and online uptake (30%), and sustain long-term growth and a 20-year partnership with ACEware Systems.
