Western Sydney University partnered with Acendre to overhaul its highly manual casual employment process. With 5,000 casual staff hired each year and multiple schools using different onboarding workflows, the university faced paper-heavy, error-prone administration, slow approvals, and significant effort across HR, payroll, hiring managers, and system administrators.
Using Acendre Recruitment integrated with Western’s payroll system, the university created the first fully online, end-to-end casual employment process, including digital signatures and self-service data entry.
