Brand X, in the automotive industry, needed to understand how brand image affected consumer attitude and behavior. It worked with Ace Metrix to test the linkage between ad content and the brand name.

Ace Metrix tested two ads, one with the brand name at the end and one without the name or logo. The unbranded ad rated significantly lower, and respondents misidentified it as a non-luxury brand, while the branded ad rated exceptionally high in both Ace Score and brand identification. Ace Metrix said the early warning helps advertisers find and fix branding issues before ad and media dollars are wasted.
