Altria faced an early-season tornado outbreak on Feb. 24, 2018 that produced multiple tornadoes across the Lower Mississippi Valley when government warnings were delayed or absent. AccuWeather For Business issued SkyGuard® warnings that provided 18–26 minutes of extra lead time (e.g., 23 minutes in Hopkinsville, 18 minutes in Smiths Grove, 26 minutes in Murray) and warned clients about five nearby tornadoes while the government failed to issue warnings in four instances.
