Case Study: Texas Instruments achieves better customer service and more effective cross-referencing with Accuris

A Accuris Case Study

Preview of the Texas Instruments Case Study

Texas Instruments (TI) enhances customer service by expanding its competitive crossreferencing capability

Texas Instruments (TI), a premier semiconductor company, needed to enhance its customer service by expanding its competitive cross-referencing capability. The challenge was to grow its parts database to help customers and sales staff find TI alternatives more quickly, reduce the number of “no results” from web searches, and leverage this data for new marketing opportunities.

The vendor, Accuris, provided its BOM Intelligence solution and strategic partnership to expand the database from 100,000 to nearly 2 million cross-references. This resulted in a 52% boost in results for previously low-performing searches and a dramatic reduction in “no results” from 94% to 9%. Accuris enabled TI to drive more web traffic, increase sales through targeted marketing, and strengthen customer ROI by helping them find replacements for obsolete parts.
