SanDisk, with 150 firmware, software and ASIC engineers distributed across California, Scotland and Israel supporting 55 products, was struggling to keep up with fast-changing, divergent product requirements. Their open-source version control (CVS) became a bottleneck, prompting the team to look for a more flexible, scalable SCM solution.

They adopted AccuRev’s stream-based architecture, which provides a time-aware, hierarchical view of code, enables concurrent development without code freezes, and allows quick drag-and-drop reconfiguration of streams.
