bet365, one of the world’s leading online gambling groups with over nine million customers and more than 2,000 employees, faced a high-stakes software challenge: bugs or regressions in production could cause real financial loss, so fixes and features had to be delivered quickly and reliably. With about 150 developers across .NET, Java and other teams, their previous version-control tool could not scale, and developers spent excessive time resolving merge conflicts and managing releases.

bet365 adopted Micro Focus AccuRev’s stream-based version control and automation to stage emergency fixes, visualize stream hierarchies in the StreamBrowser, and map testing lifecycles by stream. Automated merging and TimeSafe auditing reduced manual merges, sped up hotfixes and weekly releases, supported custom tool integration, and enabled the organization to scale development in line with business growth (about 46% annually) while maintaining quality and regulatory traceability.
