Foxborough Regional Charter School (FRCS) is a public K–12 college-preparatory school in Massachusetts serving 1,270 students with 155 faculty and staff. Rapid growth and a change in structure created more complex fund-accounting and purchasing needs than their legacy off‑the‑shelf system could handle, especially for internal/external reporting and managing high volumes of procurement.
FRCS selected the AccuFund Accounting Suite in 2011, implementing core modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Receipts) plus Accounts Receivable, Purchase and Requisition. The system streamlined PO creation and routing, provided granular departmental and sub‑department reporting, and gave directors controlled access to budget views. As a result FRCS reduced manual paperwork, improved budget visibility, sped order processing (saving about one day per week), and increased overall efficiency.
