Automotive Retailer was losing track of inventory across 800 locations because receiving was still handled manually, creating gaps between what was ordered in SAP and what was actually received. To solve the problem, Accucode was brought in to modernize inventory capture and improve data accuracy using wireless inventory management and mobile scanning technology.

Accucode deployed a secure, cloud-managed wireless network at each store through AO Networks, configured handheld scanners with location-specific “golden images,” and integrated the scan data directly into the retailer’s ERP system. This automated receiving process reduced reliance on paper, uncovered previously unaccounted-for inventory, and improved reconciliation between received items and orders without disrupting live operations.
