5Point Enterprises, a management group based in Austin, Texas, needed to move beyond multiple separate QuickBooks instances that left it without a consolidated chart of accounts across legal entities. Its accounting staff was doing much of its reporting manually in Excel, and the team was divided by physical location, which made cross-training difficult. The company worked with AcctTwo as it evaluated a move to Intacct for multi-entity financial management.

AcctTwo helped 5Point Enterprises convert 25-plus separate QuickBooks companies into one system on time and within budget. With Intacct, the company gained multi-entity support, automated inter-entity transactions, faster consolidations and month-end close, and dimensional reporting by location, department, and market segment. The case study reported a three-year net benefit of $201,281 and a five-year net benefit of $301,744.
