NorthStar Church, a large church near Atlanta, Georgia, was using ACS for financials but needed a cloud-based system with better access, less IT dependence, and stronger reporting. Staff had to build reports in Excel, manual data entry was time-consuming and error-prone, and the system could only be accessed from the church office.
AcctTwo implemented Intacct for NorthStar Church after a software evaluation. The church selected Intacct for its reporting and dimension-tracking capabilities, which were better suited for churches than ACS. Financial assistant Niki Faith said AcctTwo handled every issue raised and rated the team 10 out of 10, while noting that Intacct was far easier to use for tagging transactions and reporting by ministry.
