MCT Industries, a manufacturer, servicer and repairer of custom transportation equipment with commercial, government and waste divisions, came to Acctivate needing a way to manage and track parts inventory they previously had no system for. As the company grew—winning large government contracts and expanding operations—MCT adopted Acctivate’s inventory management software and later additional modules to address purchasing, billing and customer credit needs.
Acctivate implemented inventory, purchase order, Business Activity Management, Service Billing, Customer Management and Mobile (Sales Order and Receiving) modules and integrated with MCT’s CYMA accounting system. The result was clearer inventory visibility, faster quoting in the warehouse, streamlined purchasing and invoicing, and improved collections; as MCT’s controller noted, Acctivate “allowed us to increase production and profit on the inventory side of the parts business” and supported expanded use across their organization.
