FPC Security, an online retailer of access-control equipment selling on Amazon, eBay and a Volusion web store, was slowed by manual invoicing and QuickBooks’ limited inventory and web-store integration. They needed an automated solution to synchronize orders, tracking and inventory across marketplaces and better manage complex kit products, so they turned to Acctivate to integrate their web stores with QuickBooks.
Acctivate implemented bi-directional marketplace integration, a virtual Amazon warehouse, and Sales Order Manager for bulk invoicing and picking, automating order updates and kitting. The changes cut invoicing from six hours to 30 minutes and then to 15 minutes, saved roughly eight hours a day (about 24× greater efficiency), improved real-time inventory tracking and fulfillment speed, and brought FPC Security into compliance with Amazon requirements.
