Talend, a global data integration leader with 1,500 employees, 21 offices and $291.5M ARR, faced a pandemic-driven shift to hybrid work that strained its room and desk booking processes. The company needed to reduce administrative time, eliminate ghost meetings, streamline reservation workflows, and enable data-driven decisions about office space across multiple time zones.

Talend implemented EMS for simple, self-service booking via web and mobile, multi–time-zone support, shared resource scheduling, and space utilization reporting. After a successful pilot in France, the solution was rolled out globally—supporting bookings across 21 offices/9 time zones—cutting office-management effort from about 30% of the work week to 5–10% and providing a single system of record and actionable data to optimize space and the employee experience.
