The Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) manages water treatment and delivery for more than 2.1 million residents and millions of annual visitors, but over a decade of projects produced a vast, inconsistent set of engineering records—about 464,000 drawings across multiple formats and locations—making collaboration slow, wasting staff time, and risking loss of legacy knowledge as experienced staff retire.

Accruent migrated and streamlined SNWA’s drawings into RedEye’s cloud platform, adding QR codes for instant field access and rolling out the solution in phases with focused change management; the result was a 24% reduction in duplicates (down to 351,000 drawings), search times reduced to about two minutes, an estimated 450 man-hours saved per month, faster updates and legal holds, 500+ users, 14,000 searches monthly, and payback in under 12 months.
