Regal Cinemas, a subsidiary of Cineworld Group, needed a more user-friendly way to manage lease payments and contracts while meeting complex reporting requirements, including ASC 842 compliance across international and U.S. operations. After its 2018 acquisition and later bankruptcy-related refocus on U.S. operations, the company turned to Accruent’s Lucernex Contracts to better handle lease administration and reporting.

Accruent implemented Lucernex Contracts to centralize lease, payment, utilities, and maintenance data, while also integrating with Regal’s ERP for easier access to vendor information. The solution simplified reporting by eliminating manual Excel-based processes and helped manage rent, CAM charges, taxes, and percentage rent more efficiently, saving time and supporting ongoing operations through a challenging period.
