Société De Transport Montréal (STM), a major public transportation provider, faced significant challenges in managing engineering information for its complex infrastructure projects. With hardcopy documents and unreliable manual processes, engineers often used outdated information, leading to rework, cost overruns, and schedule delays. To overcome these project execution barriers, STM turned to Accruent and implemented its Meridian software for engineering information management.

The Accruent Meridian solution provided a common repository for engineering data, breaking down information silos and automating business processes. This implementation, supported by partner SolidCAD, substantially reduced the use of wrong document versions and nearly eliminated time spent searching for information.
