Enabling Hybrid Work While Maximizing Employee Efficiency

Talend, a global leader in data integration and governance, faced a rapid shift to hybrid work during the pandemic and needed to reduce administrative time for room and desk bookings, eliminate ghost meetings, and enable data-driven space planning across multiple time zones. To address these challenges, Talend evaluated workplace-management vendors and selected Accruent EMS for its customizable booking capabilities, multi-time-zone support, and space-utilization reporting.

Accruent EMS was deployed first as a pilot in France and then rolled out globally, providing web and mobile self-service booking, shared resource scheduling, and a single system of record for on-demand reporting. The solution helped Talend cut office-management time from roughly 30% of the work week to about 5–10%, enabled room booking across 21 offices in 9 time zones, and supplied the utilization data needed to optimize office footprint and improve employee experience.
