The Diocese of Arundel and Brighton’s finances are transformed by consolidated Cloud accounting

The Catholic Diocese of Arundel and Brighton needed to replace a stand-alone desktop finance system that required manual re-keying, offered no consolidation, and gave only limited parish-level visibility. As the Diocese began a digital finance transformation, it turned to AccountsIQ cloud accounting software to create a shared platform for its central team and around 70 mostly volunteer parish users.

AccountsIQ implemented automated processes such as digital cash collection, direct posting into the ledger, and multi-dimensional reporting across parishes, funds, sites, and departments. The Diocese says this has eliminated re-keying, improved accuracy and granularity, reduced monthly bank reconciliations to under 15 minutes for one parish, and enabled all parish accounts to be reconciled within two months of year-end, while improving the quality and speed of financial insight.
