AccountsIQ Helps Kefron Stay Ahead with Cloud Integration Strategy

Kefron, the Dublin-based storage and digital document management business, needed to modernize its finance operations as it expanded and moved more processes to the cloud. Tied to a heavily customised legacy Exchequer system, the company was struggling with cumbersome reporting, manual consolidations across multiple entities, and complicated inter-company recharging. AccountsIQ provided the cloud accounting and consolidation platform, along with integration to Kefron’s billing and AP automation tools.

AccountsIQ implemented the core platform in stages to protect business continuity, while also integrating payroll, billing, and Kefron’s paperless invoice workflow through its Open API. The result was real-time group reporting, automatic consolidation for 15 entities, simpler currency-aware inter-company charging, and a fully digital accounts payable process. Kefron also said integrated billing now saves at least half a day at month end, and year-end consolidation that once took hours of manual spreadsheet work can now be completed in a couple of hours.
