Global Contract Manufacturer Extends Fortune 500 Client List by Expanding AccountMate ERP with EDI

LAD Global Enterprises, Inc., a Kansas City-based global contract manufacturer and logistics provider, needed a more effective electronic data interchange solution as it scaled its automotive business and worked with increasingly complex enterprise trading partners. Its older proprietary EDI system lacked real-time information, integration, and automation, making it difficult to support private label manufacturing and retailer distribution requirements. AccountMate was the ERP foundation, and LAD looked to extend it with SPS Cloud EDI.

With guidance from RDI Consulting, LAD implemented SPS Cloud from AccountMate’s ecosystem to automate order fulfillment and streamline communications with trading partners such as AutoZone and O’Reilly Auto Parts. The new solution reduced the time and cost of adding new accounts, eliminated thousands of dollars in prior setup expenses, and gave LAD a scalable way to manage growing order and shipment volumes across dozens of distribution facilities in the U.S. and Canada. According to LAD, the change delivered a “world of difference” operationally and financially.
