Village Hotels, a UK hotel and leisure chain with 30+ sites and over 130,000 gym members, needed a new payments partner after its legacy system was discontinued. Its existing provider used expensive tiered pricing, required a card reader for banking portal payments, and created concerns around security and downtime, all of which risked slowing growth and complicating high-volume Direct Debit processing.
