Audubon Nature Institute, the New Orleans nonprofit behind attractions like the Audubon Zoo and Aquarium, needed a safe way to reopen during COVID-19 while recapturing lost revenue. It had already adopted Accesso’s enterprise ticketing tools—accesso Siriusware and the accesso Passport online ticketing platform—but the pandemic made it critical to shift sales online and manage capacity more tightly.
Accesso helped Audubon implement mandatory online ticketing, timed entry, capacity controls, and guest alerts about new protocols, while also enabling donations through the checkout process. With Accesso, Audubon moved sales to its online storefront, saw strong success with online giving, and used reporting to adjust ticket allocations, including reassigning about 40% of unused member inventory at the aquarium to general admission without complaints.
