Jay Peak, an all-seasons resort in northern Vermont with extensive terrain, year‑round attractions and growing guest expectations, faced long ticket lines and challenges monitoring traditional lift tickets as it expanded. To address this, Jay Peak partnered with Accesso and deployed the Accesso point of sale ticketing system, including the Access Control module and AXESS gate integration, to simplify entry and guest transactions.
Accesso implemented a resort‑wide POS and RFID access solution with easy account reloading and integrated in‑house cards and gift cards, letting guests use a single piece of media to move from lodging to lifts and make purchases across the property. The Accesso solution reduced onsite costs and lines, drove more offsite and online purchases, produced overwhelmingly positive guest feedback (especially from season passholders) and delivered a measurable ~15% reduction in labor at the ticket windows.
