Case Study: Ringtons achieves live, single-system stock control and traceability with Access Group's SupplyChain

A Access Group Case Study

Preview of the Ringtons Case Study

Ringtons - Customer Case Study

Ringtons, a 100+ year family-owned UK tea business serving some 300,000 households through 25+ sales points and a fleet of 200+ vans, faced fragmented IT and manual processes—multiple spreadsheets, limited stock visibility and over-reliance on a single IT manager. To modernise its backbone Ringtons upgraded to Access Group’s Access SupplyChain (v7.1) and began expanding the vendor’s suite across finance and operations.

Access Group implemented Access SupplyChain Warehouse Management with handheld barcode scanning, Office Integration and other modules to replace manual spreadsheets and island systems. The change delivered a single, virtually live system with full traceability, eliminated labour‑intensive reconciliations, and freed supervisors for core tasks; for example the weekly Outstanding Debtors process now takes ~30 minutes instead of half a day. Additional benefits from Access Group include planned MRP rollout, automated emailed statements to cut admin/postage and a fixed asset register for faster, more accurate reporting.
