A Access Group Case Study
PCT Automotive, a leading European designer and manufacturer of towbars and towing electrics, faced limited warehouse visibility and insufficient production/shop-floor data from its legacy accounting system as the business grew. To address these challenges, PCT Automotive selected Access Supply Chain (ASC) from Access Group to provide stronger warehousing, stock allocation and manufacturing functionality alongside built-in financials.
Access Group implemented ASC in a staged, off-season rollout with a six-week pilot and staff training, then deployed it across three factories and remote sites. The solution increased usable warehouse capacity by 30 per cent (avoiding new warehouse costs), delivered much faster reporting (profit & loss in about 1.5 seconds versus ~15 minutes previously and days before that), automated customer invoicing and shipping communications, and improved shop-floor tracking and quality control—dramatically improving multi-site visibility and operational efficiency.
