King of Shaves, a UK-based manufacturer of shaving gels, oils and skincare, was growing rapidly and needed proper MRP and multi-currency functionality after trying to manage bills of materials and planning with Excel alongside Encore Ebis. The company selected Access Group’s Access SupplyChain solution to provide a single, affordable system combining finance and manufacturing capabilities.
Access Group implemented Access SupplyChain in two phases — core sales, purchasing and stock controls first, then MRPII — and automated nightly MRP processing, SKU-by-customer 18-month forecasting and bespoke reporting. The result was a fully integrated system with improved visibility and KPIs (about 80 custom reports), automated purchase requirements, tighter inventory (around four weeks of stock) and faster reaction to sales trends, delivering clearer control of inventory and cash.
