Outlook Care, a not-for-profit Care Quality Commission–registered provider operating across eight local authority areas in north and east London and Essex, struggled with dispersed operations (500 employees, only 30 based at a central office), paper-based HR, rota and finance processes, and a workforce with low familiarity with software. To tackle the need for integrated HR, finance and rota planning without burdening frontline carers with multiple systems, Outlook Care selected Access Group and its Access Workspace solution.
Access Group implemented Access Workspace across HR, finance and rota functions, giving staff a single sign-on and cloud access to book annual leave, view payslips, confirm hours and access rotas from anywhere. The change created a single version of the truth, reduced manual paperwork and errors, saved staff time for direct care, improved reporting accuracy, empowered remote workers across the 500-strong workforce, and supported Outlook Care’s move to more efficient cloud-hosted infrastructure.
