Shepperton Marina, which spans three sites (marina, golf and marine engineering), faced fragmented finance systems—Exchequer, Sage and bespoke software—that couldn’t integrate, provide intuitive workflows or deliver the reporting they needed. They engaged Access Group and chose a phased rollout of Dimensions with FocalPoint (using Transaction Broker and Crystal Reports) to provide a single, flexible finance platform that could interface with their existing bespoke systems.
Access Group implemented Dimensions and FocalPoint starting at the golf site, integrating with remote timesheet and purchase workflows and rolling out tailored reporting. The solution saved at least half a day a week in manual processing, reduced supplier query calls (from several a day to just 1–2 a week), gave each site autonomy to view their own financials, improved cash-flow visibility and freed staff to take on new responsibilities—delivering measurable efficiency and better management information.
