How Thomas Legal have grown by making greater efficiencies with tech

Thomas Legal, a specialist property law firm in Gloucestershire, faced a potential downturn in 2019 as Brexit uncertainty threatened to reduce home moves and repeat business. To strengthen introducer relationships and improve client communication they adopted technology from Access Group, notably the Access Legal Portal and an onboarding app, to enable secure messaging, document sharing and online form completion.

Working with Access Group, Thomas Legal also created a dedicated Business Development Team and integrated third‑party systems (including the Land Registry Portal) to minimise manual keying and speed ID checks. Those changes lifted conversion rates from about 50% to over 70%, produced their busiest year on record and earned a Business Growth Award nomination — clear, measurable gains driven by Access Group’s solutions.
