A Access Group Case Study
Framework Housing Association, a Nottingham-based charity supporting homeless and vulnerable people, was using an outdated, on-premise CRM that was hard to access across sites and relied on laborious manual entry of Direct Debits and regular donations. Seeking a cloud-hosted, easy-to-use system with third-party integrations, they selected Access Group’s thankQ CRM to replace the decade-old system.
Access Group implemented thankQ (cloud-hosted) between March and June 2017, integrating it with tools like JustGiving and MailChimp, batching regular payments, and helping Framework build a GDPR-compliant database. The change cut data-entry time dramatically (adding a contact fell from about 10 minutes to under one minute), virtually eliminated payment-entry errors, reduced IT maintenance, protected fundraising during a server malware attack, and enabled bulk email communications to save on postage.
