A Access Group Case Study
Baseline Controls, a Raleigh‑based planning and engineering consultancy, was commissioned to assess whether a new $1B vaccine facility could produce 150 million doses within six months for a US government–pharma public‑private initiative. With the plant not yet at full production and only limited batch data available, Baseline Controls selected Access Orchestrate from Access Group to model capacity and run the necessary “what‑if” analyses.
Using Access Orchestrate provided by Access Group, Baseline Controls built a detailed capacity model in under two weeks, identified and value‑ranked 10 remediation areas, and demonstrated the site could accelerate delivery by three weeks and reach the target six batch runs per week (up from four–five). The platform replaced spreadsheet planning with hour‑by‑hour scheduling, improved equipment utilization and day‑to‑day operations, secured 10 further Orchestrate projects, and delivered the proof‑of‑concept stakeholders needed for pandemic readiness.
