Eureka! – The Museum for Children is a UK charity and hands-on attraction for 0–11 year olds with over 400 interactive exhibits. Faced with the need to manage admissions, bookings and events, retail point-of-sale and stock control, purchase orders, membership management and Gift Aid processing for admissions—as well as school group itineraries and trustee reporting—Eureka! selected Access Gamma through Access Group to supply an integrated operational system in 2004.

Access Group’s Access Gamma solution delivered admissions and Gift Aid, retail POS and stock control, booking/event management and membership modules with online card authorization and seamless accounting integration. In April 2006 handheld data-capture units were added to fast-track Gift Aid, sales and income now pass directly to the accounting system, and bespoke data exports enable complex trustee reports—streamlining operations, simplifying Gift Aid processing and improving financial and operational reporting for Eureka!.
