Case Study: Condor Ferries achieves optimised onboard stock levels and faster ship-to-shore replenishment with Access Group’s Access Delta solution

A Access Group Case Study

Preview of the Condor Ferries Case Study

Carrying over one million passengers and 200,000 passenger vehicles every year

Condor Ferries, which carries over one million passengers and 200,000 passenger vehicles a year, needed to optimise its floating retail operation to keep replenishment to a minimum without running out of stock across a complex fleet and fast turnarounds. To address this challenge the ferry operator worked with Access Group, deploying the Access Delta Bond warehouse and EPOS integration to link onboard sales with shore-side fulfilment.

Access Group implemented a fully integrated ship-to-shore solution (Access Delta Bond) that transmits EPOS transactions to the warehouse, generates picking notes, manages bonded stock and produces HMRC-compliant paperwork. The result is full stock traceability, faster emergency replenishment (including moving small emergency consignments to a ship in around 20 minutes), reduced labour and administration, lower costs and improved onboard service — positioning Condor Ferries as more productive and innovative.
