Case Study: Spinal Research achieves major time savings and GDPR compliance with Access Group's thankQ

A Access Group Case Study

Preview of the Spinal Research Case Study

Access thankQ has helped Spinal Research be more efficient by freeing them from their manual processes

Spinal Research, a small charity of nine staff, was hampered by a bespoke, hard-to-use fundraising system that made reporting difficult and left them exposed ahead of GDPR. After evaluating options including Salesforce, the charity chose Access Group’s Access thankQ to provide a user-friendly, configurable database and stronger compliance capabilities.

Access Group implemented Access thankQ (including the Consent Portal) to streamline reporting, Gift Aid management, data imports and integrations (e.g., Mailchimp) and to log communications directly from Office. The change freed about 10 hours of work per person per week, cut financial import time from 2 hours to 20 minutes, reduced Gift Aid return processing from about 1 hour to ~15 minutes, and delivered a GDPR-compliant, future-proofed system with better visibility of supporters.
