A Access Group Case Study
Charnwood Community Action (CCA) is a partnership of local organisations formed to support Charnwood residents during the coronavirus pandemic. Faced with a collapsing food poverty network, fragmented data across multiple partner charities, and limited funding and time to implement a solution, CCA needed a secure, easy-to-access central system. Working with Access Group, CCA adopted Access NFP CRM, supported by a tailored onboarding and a two-month free offer to overcome immediate funding hurdles.
Access Group implemented Access NFP CRM as a cloud-based, remotely accessible system with bespoke fields, grouping and reporting features and hands‑on support from the product team. The solution gave partners up-to-date shared data, simplified reporting and labelling, and enabled John Storer House to run a centralised hub; as a result CCA has delivered over 8,000 food parcels (about 600 weekly, supporting ~1,440 people), maintains regular contact with 202 individuals and coordinates 31 telephone‑befriending volunteers. Access Group’s quick deployment and ongoing support delivered measurable operational visibility and faster, safer service to vulnerable residents.
