Access and Mestec provide integrated solution for Martin’s Rubber

Martin’s Rubber, a leading elastomer manufacturer, struggled with complex, variable batch production and limited shop‑floor visibility from legacy systems, which constrained capacity utilisation, on‑time delivery and cost control. To address this, Martin’s Rubber engaged Access Group, deploying Access ERP and Access Orchestrate Planning and Scheduling and integrating them with Mestec Manufacturing Execution Systems to improve accurate shop‑floor data collection (SFDC) and production planning.

Access Group’s solution delivered real‑time work‑to lists to operator tablets, automatic capture of start/finish times and continual re‑scheduling via Access Orchestrate fed by Mestec SFDC. The integration gave Martin’s Rubber confidence in its data, improved capacity use and productivity, tightened stock, labour and materials reporting, and improved on‑time delivery and cost control — allowing multiple reschedules per day and clearer visibility of available capacity.
