Successful implementation of inventory management system for big water bottler paves way for additional warehouse/freight management clients

Performance Freight Systems, a 3PL and freight-forwarding company, needed a better way to manage the growing complexity of its warehouse operations, especially for a large bottled water customer with strict inventory and fulfillment requirements. To support its expanding mix of warehousing clients, Performance Freight Systems turned to Accellos and its AccellosOne Warehouse Management System for 3PL.

Accellos implemented AccellosOne WMS and configured it for barcode-directed receiving, putaway, picking, shipping, and FIFO inventory control across multiple facilities. The result was stronger inventory visibility, less paper handling, faster operations, and improved revenue capture; Performance Freight Systems now turns about 70,000 pallets per month and handles up to 150 truckloads in 24 hours.
