HMS Manufacturing Co., a Michigan-based maker of home storage and organization products, was struggling with a paper-based warehouse management system that made it hard to track inventory, prioritize orders, and serve large retailers and more than 10,000 stores worldwide. The company needed a solution that could integrate with Microsoft Dynamics GP, and AccellosOne WMS and AccellosOne EDI were selected to address those operational challenges.

Accellos implemented AccellosOne WMS in less than a week, helping HMS standardize warehouse locations, improve picking, and streamline workflows, while AccellosOne EDI supported shipping notices and delivery coordination. The results were strong: pick times dropped 75% from 24 minutes to 6 minutes, labor needs were reduced from two workers to one per order, and shipping errors fell to nearly zero, with only a handful since 2010.
